Login & Account

This page is for everyone who uses basebox in their organization: you have received an invitation, or your organization has given you the basebox address. If you want to set up a new organization instead, read Creating a new organization.

Sign in to basebox

First sign-in via the invitation

When an administrator invites you, you receive an email from basebox.

  1. Open the invitation email and follow the link.
  2. Create your account, for example by setting a password.
  3. You then land in basebox and can get started.

Signing in

  1. Open your organization's address, e.g. <your-organization>.basebox.ai. For a basebox Server, your IT department gives you the address.
  2. Enter your credentials.
  3. Click Sign in.

Signing in with your company account (SSO)

If your organization uses single sign-on, you sign in with the account you already use every day, such as your Microsoft account.

  1. Open your organization's address.
  2. Choose sign-in with your company account.
  3. You are redirected to your organization's sign-in page. Sign in there as usual.

Your administrators can tell you whether your organization uses SSO.

Forgotten password

  1. Click "Forgot password" on the sign-in page.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Follow the instructions in the email.

If you sign in via SSO, the password of your company account applies. In that case, contact your IT department. In detail: Password management.

basebox distinguishes administrators and users

Note

basebox has two roles – Administrator (manages users, apps, and organization settings) and User (uses chat and apps without administrative functions). Every organization needs at least one administrator.

Creating a new organization

This section only applies if you want to set up basebox for a new organization. If you belong to an existing organization, you do not need a new account but an invitation.

  1. Open basebox.ai.
  2. Click "Get started for free".
  3. Follow the registration process.

This creates an account in basebox Cloud: 1 million tokens free of charge, with no time limit; you can invite as many people as you like and book later. Details: Start with basebox Cloud.

Frequently asked questions

I have not received an invitation – what now? Check your spam folder. If it is not there, ask an administrator of your organization to send the invitation again.

I do not know my organization's address. Ask your administrators or your IT department.
