basebox Cloud

basebox Cloud is a production environment running on basebox-owned infrastructure in the Noris data center. Your organization receives an isolated environment on it, operated by basebox.

Characteristics

  • The infrastructure belongs to basebox and stands in the Noris data center.
  • Each customer organization gets its own isolated environment.
  • basebox operates the platform: installation, updates, monitoring, backup.
  • You administer the application: users, groups, models, apps, connectors, instructions.
  • No customer-owned physical server is involved.

What Cloud is not

  • Not the Demo. The Demo is an evaluation environment with its own infrastructure; its properties say nothing about the Cloud.
  • Not a server hosted at basebox. If your organization has a dedicated server that stands in the basebox data center, that is basebox Server with hosting at basebox – you share the hardware with nobody.

Who it is for

Organizations that want to use basebox in production without procuring or operating their own servers, and for whom an isolated environment on infrastructure operated by basebox meets their requirements.
