Roles & Permissions

basebox has two roles: Administrator and User. This page is the authoritative overview of which role has which rights. Every organization needs at least one administrator.

Understanding the two roles in basebox

Administrator

What administrators can do:

• Add, remove, and manage users
• Change the roles of team members
• Adjust organization settings
• Manage apps for the team
• Use all regular user functions

User (default role)

What regular users can do:

• Use chat with the AI
• Use available apps
• Create their own apps (if allowed)

What regular users CANNOT do:

• Manage other users
• Change organization settings
• View the administration area
